Kirk Hansel Boat Build Page - "The Nebraskan"
Kirk's build is very professional and well conceived. Color
coordinated, roomy and dependable.

Photo of the hull primed and getting coat of paint. Boat was painted on the outside and then repeated the process for the interior.


Once painted, 3/4 inch marine plywood was used for floor underlayment. The seat pedestal areas were reinforced on the underside with aluminum wherein the pedestal bases could be screwed into plywood and aluminum.

Building of rear compartment. Again used 3/4 marine plywood with marine carpeting to start the construction of the rear compartments to house batteries, fuel tank, bildge pump, control panel, etc.


Painted an old Coleman cooler to match boat and installed 15 gallon marine fuel tank.



Rear compartment, flooring, and seats installed.




Rear compartment area complete, control panel, how the motor mount was constructed, and finally the console with the stealing and gauges.
